FAQs

What material are the Havaianas Fantasia flip-flops made of?

The straps are made of PVC, and the sole is made of rubber. This combination ensures durability and water resistance.

How do I find the correct size?

Havaianas uses Brazilian sizing which can differ from UK sizing. It is recommended to consult the brand's size chart or measure your foot and compare it to the provided UK size (e.g., UK 5.5).

Can I wear these in the ocean or swimming pool?

Yes, the rubber sole and PVC straps are water-resistant, making them suitable for beach and pool environments. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt or chlorine.

Are these suitable for all-day walking?

They offer good comfort and support for casual, all-day wear. However, they do not provide significant arch support, so individuals requiring specialized orthopedic features might need to consider other options.

How do I clean my flip-flops?

Clean them with a soft sponge dampened with water and neutral soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and dry them in the shade.

Do the metallic straps fade or tarnish?

With proper care and avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals, the metallic finish should maintain its appearance. Normal wear and tear may occur over time.

What is the main difference between Fantasia and other Havaianas models?

The Fantasia model stands out with its unique lateral cross-over design featuring metallic straps, offering a more modern and stylish aesthetic compared to the classic flat strap design.

Troubleshooting

Flip-flops feel stiff or rub initially.

This is common with new PVC. Wear them for short periods initially, or dampen the straps slightly with water to help them mold to your foot. They typically soften after a few wears.

Color transfer from straps to skin.

Ensure the flip-flops are fully dry before wearing, especially if they've been wet. Mild soap and water cleaning followed by thorough drying should resolve this.

Slipping sensation despite the design.

Ensure your feet and the flip-flops are clean and dry. If the issue persists, consider if the fit is optimal for your foot shape. They are designed for casual use, not high-traction activities.

Straps feel too loose or too tight.

Havaianas straps are not adjustable. If the fit is significantly off, it might be worth checking if a different size or a sibling model with a slightly different strap design would be more suitable.
