Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully unroll the rug from its packaging.
- Flatten: If the rug has temporary creases from shipping, reverse roll it or place heavy, flat objects on the affected areas for a few hours or overnight to help it lie flat.
- Place Rug Grip (Recommended): For optimal stability and to prevent slipping and wrinkling, place a suitable rug grip underneath the rug, especially on hard floor surfaces like wood, tile, or laminate.
- Position: Place the rug in your desired location, ensuring it is centered and aligned as preferred.

Care
- Regular Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly on a low-power setting or with a brush attachment to remove dirt and dust, especially in high-traffic areas.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills and stains, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap or carpet cleaner diluted in water. Apply to a clean cloth, blot the stain (do not rub), and then blot with a damp cloth to rinse. Allow to air dry completely.
- Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough clean, consider professional rug cleaning or using a carpet cleaning machine suitable for polypropylene rugs. Always follow the cleaner's instructions.
- Rotate Periodically: To ensure even wear and exposure to light, rotate your rug every few months, especially if it's in a high-traffic area or exposed to direct sunlight.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong detergents, as they can damage the polypropylene fibers.
- Protect from Direct Sunlight: While durable, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause colors to fade over time. Consider rotating the rug or using window coverings.
