This rainsuiit is designed for young children, with specific sizing available for ages from 6-12 months up to 72 months (6 years).
Refer to the sizing chart provided in the product description. Measurements are often given in both age ranges and centimeters (cm) for a more accurate fit. It's recommended to measure the child's height.
No, the hood is integral to the design, meaning it is permanently attached to the rainsuiit.
The rainsuiit is designed for waterproofing and breathability. For cold weather, it is recommended to layer warm clothing underneath. This suit does not provide insulation on its own.
Isolite 5000 is Regatta's technology for lightweight, waterproof, and breathable fabric. The '5000' rating refers to its hydrostatic head (waterproofness) and breathability capabilities (5000g/m²/24hrs).
Machine wash at 40°C on a gentle cycle using liquid detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Hang to dry and do not tumble dry or iron.
The reflective trims are designed to be durable for normal wear and tear. To maintain their effectiveness, follow the care instructions carefully, especially avoiding high heat and harsh detergents.
Ensure all zips are fully closed and check that the taped seams are intact. If seams appear damaged, contact customer support. Machine wash and ensure no fabric softener was used, as this can affect waterproofing.
The suit is waterproof but may not be sufficiently breathable for very high-intensity activity. Ensure the child is not overdressed underneath. Allow for ventilation by slightly unzipping if possible and appropriate for the weather.
The integral hood is designed for general coverage. For a tighter fit, ensure the main zip is fully closed. Consider layering a thin hat underneath if more specific head coverage is needed.
Ensure the child is wearing smooth layers underneath. Lay the suit flat and have the child step into the legs first. Fully open the zip to allow maximum space for movement.
Setup: The Regatta Puddle IV Waterproof Rainsuit requires no setup; it is ready to wear straight out of the packaging.
Compatibility: This rainsuiit is designed for children and is compatible with general outdoor play and various weather conditions. It can be worn over regular clothing. Ensure you select the correct size based on the child's height and age measurements provided.
