Isolite 5000 provides a good balance of waterproofing and breathability. While not rated for extreme expedition conditions, it is designed to keep children dry during typical wet weather play.

The rainsuit is primarily designed for wet weather protection. For cold conditions, it should be worn over warm layers of clothing. It is not insulated on its own.

Refer to the sizing chart provided in the product description, which often includes measurements in centimeters (cm) or inches (in) corresponding to age ranges. Ensure to select the size that best matches your child's current measurements.

No, the hood is integral to the design of the suit, meaning it is attached and cannot be removed.

The rainsuit can be machine washed at 40°C. Avoid using bleach. It can be tumble dried on a low heat setting or ironed on a low heat. Do not dry clean.

The reflective trims are designed to be durable under normal wear and tear. Following the care instructions will help maintain their reflectivity over time.

Ensure all seams are properly taped and that the main zipper is fully closed. If the issue persists, the fabric's waterproof coating may be compromised. Re-waterproofing treatments can be applied following product instructions.

While the suit is breathable, excessive activity in very warm, humid conditions can still lead to some internal moisture buildup. Ensure the child is not overdressed underneath. Check that the fabric is clean, as dirt can impede breathability.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Apply a small amount of wax or silicone lubricant to the zipper track.
