Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
When you first receive your adidas Predator Elite boots, it's recommended to wear them around the house for short periods to begin the break-in process. This allows the `HybridTouch 2.0` upper and PRIMEKNIT collar to adapt to your foot shape, ensuring maximum comfort and performance on the pitch.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are dry or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or soft ground (SG) may lead to premature wear, damage to the studs, or reduced performance and stability. Always check the ground conditions before playing.
Care and Maintenance
To prolong the life of your Predator Elite boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Remove excess mud and dirt with a soft brush or cloth.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe the upper clean. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Air Dry: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage materials.
- Store Properly: Keep them in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees to maintain their shape.
- Inspect Studs: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage, especially after intense matches.
