Yes, this is a dual-sided mattress, which allows you to flip and rotate it to ensure even wear across both sides.
No, this specific model features a standard divan base without storage drawers.
The included headboard is 54 inches tall and is designed as a floor-standing unit.
The mattress is rated as medium-firm, providing a balance of comfort and structural support.
The plush velvet is best cleaned with a light vacuum or a soft, damp cloth for spot cleaning. Avoid soaking the fabric.
The Knight Sleep York set is manufactured in the UK.
Ensure all bolts connecting the headboard to the divan base are tightened securely and that the headboard is resting firmly against the floor.
Allow the mattress to settle for 24-48 hours after unpacking to ensure the fillings and foam fully expand to their intended shape.
Check that the chrome glides are level on the floor surface and ensure all connecting bolts between the divan base sections are fully tightened.
Assembly of the divan base is straightforward; the sections connect easily using the provided hardware, and the chrome glides are pre-attached or easily inserted. Position the base in your desired bedroom location before attaching the floor-standing headboard. To maintain the integrity of the memory foam, it is recommended to rotate the mattress every few weeks during the first three months of use, and every 3-6 months thereafter. Keep the surface clean by using a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. As this is a hypoallergenic product, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners that may penetrate the knitted fabric cover.
