Gently vacuum with a soft brush attachment and treat any spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
Check that the bolts connecting the headboard struts to the divan base are fully tightened.
Allow the mattress to settle for 24 hours after unwrapping and rotate it 180 degrees if necessary.
Ensure the chrome glides are properly seated; place felt furniture pads under the glides if using on hardwood flooring.
Assembly of the Knight Sleep York set is straightforward, requiring basic tools to attach the headboard to the divan base and securing the chrome glides. Ensure the bed is placed on a level surface to prevent uneven wear on the divan base. For maintenance, rotate the mattress every few months to ensure even wear across the surface. While the mattress cover is crafted from soft-touch knitted fabric, it is recommended to use a high-quality mattress protector to prevent staining and dust accumulation. Vacuum the velvet fabric of the base and headboard with a soft brush attachment periodically to remove surface dust and maintain the plush pile of the fabric.
