The Heavy Duty Strainer - 35 cm is a robust kitchen tool designed for professional chefs and home cooks who handle large volumes of ingredients, such as pasta, stocks, and blanched vegetables. Its primary benefit is a high-capacity, fine-mesh construction that delivers professional-grade straining efficiency, though its significant 350mm diameter may be challenging to store in smaller kitchen cabinets.

It is not recommended. The wooden handle can crack or deteriorate with repeated dishwasher cycles, so hand washing is preferred.
The material is high-quality stainless steel, which is rust-resistant. However, it should be dried thoroughly after washing to maintain its finish.
The 350mm diameter is quite large. Please measure your sink width before purchase to ensure it can rest securely on the edges.
The wood handle is a poor conductor of heat compared to metal, making it safer to hold when straining hot pasta or stocks.
While it does not have a specific weight limit, the heavy-duty design is intended to handle the full capacity of food that fits inside the 35cm bowl.
Use a stiff, non-metallic brush with warm water to dislodge debris from the underside of the mesh.
Inspect the rivets connecting the handle to the frame; if slightly loose, they can often be tightened by a professional kitchenware repair technician.
Use a stainless steel cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water to gently buff away spots.
No assembly is required; the strainer is ready to use immediately. Compatibility is best with large mixing bowls or deep sinks that can accommodate its 35cm frame. To maintain the life of the wood handle, avoid prolonged soaking in water and do not place the item in a dishwasher. Clean the stainless steel mesh immediately after use with warm, soapy water and a soft brush to prevent food particles from hardening in the fine mesh gaps. Dry the wood handle thoroughly before storage.
