Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Break-In Period: Like most new football boots, allow for a short break-in period (1-2 training sessions) to mold the boots to your feet for optimal comfort and performance.
- Lacing: Ensure laces are tied securely but not excessively tight, allowing for proper blood circulation and a comfortable fit. Consider different lacing techniques if you experience pressure points.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: These boots are designed for Multi-Ground (FG/MG) use, making them suitable for:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm and not overly wet or muddy.
- Artificial Grass (AG): Modern artificial turf surfaces.
*Not recommended for extremely soft, muddy natural grass or older, abrasive artificial turf (1G/2G) surfaces without rubber infill.*
- Foot Type: The pliable synthetic upper is designed to adapt to various foot shapes, but individual fit may vary. Consider trying them on to ensure comfort.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, wipe off excess dirt and mud with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes that could damage the upper material.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do *not* expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can cause the material to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Stud Inspection: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage, especially when transitioning between different playing surfaces. Replace boots if studs are significantly worn or compromised.
