Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best fit, wear your regular hiking socks when trying on the shoes to account for the thickness of the material. Because the shoes feature a leather upper, it is recommended to wear them for a few shorter walks before heading out on long, multi-day excursions to allow the material to break in. For care, remove excess dirt after each hike using a soft brush. If the shoes become heavily soiled, clean them with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid using aggressive cleaners or submerging them completely. Keep the leather conditioned periodically to prevent drying or cracking, and allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the waterproof membrane.
