Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Ensure proper lacing for a secure, comfortable fit. Experiment with different lacing techniques if you experience pressure points or heel slippage. The webbed lace loops are designed to help customize this fit.
- Break-In Period: While comfortable from the start, allow for a short break-in period, typically a few runs, for the shoes to fully conform to your foot and for the cushioning to settle.
Compatibility
- Running Surfaces: Best suited for asphalt, concrete roads, and track surfaces. Not recommended for technical trails or uneven terrain due to its road-specific outsole.
- Sock Choice: Pair with moisture-wicking athletic socks to maximize breathability and prevent blisters.
- Foot Type: Designed for a neutral stride, offering balanced cushioning and support.
Care & Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Nike Air Zoom Vomero Plus, follow these care instructions:
- Cleaning:
- Gently wipe the engineered mesh upper and ZoomX midsole with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with cool water and a mild soap.
- Avoid harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners, or stiff brushes, which can damage materials.
- For the white color, address dirt and stains promptly to prevent them from setting.
- Do NOT machine wash or machine dry your shoes, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Drying:
- After cleaning, air dry your shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), which can warp materials.
- You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage:
- Store your shoes in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid storing them in damp environments, which can promote odor or mildew.
