Yes, many runners rely on the Pegasus series for high-mileage training and marathon distances due to its reliable cushioning.
No, the Pegasus 40 features a breathable mesh upper that is not designed to repel water.
These follow standard adult sizing. It is recommended to have a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
While durable on pavement, these are optimized for roads and gym surfaces, not loose or technical trail terrain.
Generally, running shoes should be replaced every 300 to 500 miles, depending on usage intensity and wear patterns.
Consider using a double knot or a runner's loop (heel lock) to improve tension.
Try adjusting the lacing pattern to be looser in the forefoot while keeping the midfoot secure.
To achieve the best fit, ensure the laces are tightened firmly but not restrictedly across the midfoot. These trainers are designed for standard adult foot shapes; for those using custom orthotics, the factory insole is removable to accommodate individual inserts. For maintenance, clean the exterior using a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat can degrade the cushioning foam and adhesive bonding. Allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
