FAQs
Are these sneakers suitable for all types of sports?
These Skechers Bounder Simple Cute Sneakers are designed for comfort and ease of wear during casual activities, school, and light play. While they offer good cushioning, they are not specifically engineered for high-performance sports or activities that require extensive lateral support or specialized traction.
How do the 'Hands Free Slip-ins' work?
The Hands Free Slip-ins® feature an exclusive Heel Pillow® design that comfortably holds your child's foot in place as they slide it in. This innovative technology allows for effortless wear without needing to bend down or use hands, promoting independence for kids.
Can I put these shoes in the dryer?
No, it is not recommended to put these shoes in the dryer. High heat can damage the materials, including the Air-Cooled Memory Foam®. Always air dry them completely after washing.
What is the benefit of the Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole?
The Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole provides superior cushioning, conforming to the unique shape of the foot for personalized comfort. It also promotes airflow, helping to keep feet cooler and more comfortable throughout the day.
Are the laces adjustable?
The sneakers feature stretch laces with an adaptive closure system. While they are not traditional tie laces that can be tightened or loosened manually, their stretchy nature and adaptive design provide a secure and flexible fit that adjusts to the foot without needing to be tied.
What age group is this shoe designed for?
These sneakers are specifically designed for 'kids' in the children's age group, as indicated by the product attributes and sizing (UK 4 for children).
Troubleshooting
The sneakers feel too loose or slip off too easily.
While designed for easy slip-in, ensure the correct size has been chosen. The Heel Pillow® should provide a secure fit. If they feel too large, consider a smaller size. For minor looseness, wearing thicker socks might help.
The sneakers get dirty quickly.
As these shoes are machine washable, cleaning is straightforward. Follow the `Machine Washing Instructions` in the `Setup, Compatibility & Care` section. For minor scuffs, a damp cloth can often clean the synthetic upper.
Foot odor is present after wear.
The Air-Cooled Memory Foam® is designed for breathability, but foot odor can still occur. Ensure shoes are thoroughly air-dried after washing. Using moisture-wicking socks can help, and allowing the shoes to air out between wears can also reduce odor buildup.
