The ASICS GEL-NYC trainers are designed for active kids who value both heritage style and modern, reliable comfort. Drawing inspiration from iconic models like the GEL-NIMBUS 3, these trainers offer an excellent blend of stability and flexibility for daily wear, though the intricate nylon construction requires careful cleaning to maintain their vibrant multicolor look.

These trainers are primarily designed for lifestyle and casual daily use, featuring GEL technology for comfort rather than high-performance distance running.
Use a soft brush and mild soap to gently spot clean the nylon. Avoid submerging the shoes in water.
The design is inspired by iconic ASICS archive models from the early 2000s, specifically the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and GEL-MC PLUS V.
Yes, the ISS-inspired tooling provides targeted midfoot stability that supports the natural arch of the foot.
The insoles can typically be removed, but we recommend keeping the original cushioning inserts for the best performance as designed.
Use a double-knot technique or replace with high-friction performance laces.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning foam and a microfiber cloth to gently scrub the area.
Ensure the shoe is tied snugly across the midfoot and check that the sock thickness matches the shoe fit.
To ensure the best fit, ensure you are referencing the UK sizing guidelines provided for children. Because these shoes feature a nylon-based construction, avoid using harsh industrial cleaners or bleaching agents. For daily care, wipe the outsole with a damp cloth after use to prevent dirt buildup. If the upper becomes soiled, use a soft-bristled brush with mild soapy water, ensuring you do not soak the material. Always air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials and affect the performance of the GEL cushioning system.
