FAQs
Are these gloves truly waterproof?
Yes, they feature the Aquasealz™ membrane, which is designed to keep water out entirely while remaining breathable.
Can I use these for skiing?
They are suitable for light snow and general outdoor activity, but they are not heavily insulated enough for extended periods in extreme mountain cold.
How should I wash them?
Hand wash with a mild detergent and air dry; do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Does the grip pattern wear off?
The S-grip pattern is durable, but like any silicone-based grip, it may show minor signs of wear after heavy, consistent use over several seasons.
Do they fit true to size?
They are designed to be a close fit for better dexterity. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, we recommend checking the size guide or sizing up.
Troubleshooting
Touchscreen not responding
Ensure the conductive fingertips are clean and dry; moisture or dirt on the glove surface can interfere with screen sensitivity.
Gloves feel damp inside
If the exterior is dry, the dampness may be trapped perspiration; ensure you are not wearing the gloves during high-exertion activities if the temperature is too high for the insulation level.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Fully waterproof protection for rain and snow
- Breathable material prevents overheating
- Touchscreen compatible fingertips
- Excellent grip for handling gear in wet weather
- Lightweight and non-bulky profile
Cons
- Not intended for extreme sub-zero temperatures
- Sizing can be snug due to the waterproof membrane
- Limited to specific color options
Setup, Compatibility & Care
These gloves do not require any complex setup; simply slide them on and ensure the fingers are seated properly. To maintain the integrity of the waterproof membrane, follow these care instructions:
- Washing: Hand wash in cool water using a mild, non-biological detergent.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can damage the waterproof membrane and synthetic fleece.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid folding the gloves while they are damp for extended periods to prevent odor build-up.
