Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces sufficiently to allow your foot to slide in comfortably.
- Insert Foot: Gently slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is seated correctly.
- Adjust Fit: Begin tightening the laces from the bottom (toes) upwards, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit across the midfoot and ankle. Double knot for security during play.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods around the house or during light training sessions to break them in before a full match.
Compatibility
These adidas Predator Elite FT FG boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches. They are not recommended for use on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the boots and increase the risk of injury.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud by gently tapping the boots together. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe away any remaining grime. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth.
- Drying: Always air dry your boots at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources (like radiators). Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe bag can protect them from dust and scratches. Avoid storing them in damp environments, which can promote mold growth.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Never machine wash or tumble dry your football boots, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
