Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your adidas Predator Elite boots is straightforward:
- Preparation: Ensure your feet are clean and dry, and wear your preferred football socks.
- Slide On: Due to the laceless construction and 4-way stretch material, gently slide your foot into the boot. The adaptive fit will conform to your foot.
- Adjust Tongue: Ensure the fold-over tongue is comfortably positioned to secure the fit and provide a clean striking area.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This includes natural grass pitches that are dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can compromise performance, stud durability, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to clean the upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Follow Care Instructions: Always refer to the specific care instructions provided by adidas. Info needed: [Specific care instructions for Textile upper, Synthetic lining, Rubber sole materials].
