The New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 is a high-performance running shoe tailored for runners seeking a lightweight, ultra-responsive option for speedwork, tempo runs, and race-day performance. Utilizing a high-rebound PEBA and EVA midsole blend, these trainers provide excellent energy return in a streamlined package; however, the focus on lightweight construction means they may lack the heavy-duty stability features found in traditional high-mileage daily trainers.

Yes, the Rebel v5 is designed for race-day performance, though suitability depends on your individual preference for cushioning levels and distance goals.
The Rebel v5 fits true to standard running shoe sizing; it is recommended to allow for a thumb-width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
These shoes are engineered primarily for road surfaces and track use. They are not recommended for technical trail terrain due to the design of the outsole.
The midsole uses a high-rebound blend of PEBA and EVA foam to balance weight and energy return.
Typically, performance running shoes like the Rebel v5 provide optimal support and responsiveness for 300 to 500 miles, depending on surface type and running form.
Ensure the laces are not overtightened; the padded tongue is designed to disperse pressure, so aim for a secure but non-constricting fit.
Gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid soaking the shoe or using a washing machine, which can damage the delicate mesh structure.
To ensure the best performance from your New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 trainers, ensure you have selected your correct UK adult size. For care, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources such as radiators or dryers, as this can degrade the foam's integrity. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry mud or dirt. If the shoes become wet, remove the insoles and stuff the interior with newspaper to absorb moisture in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
