Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Awe Hiker DWR shoes, start by ensuring a proper fit; because they are used for hiking, leave just enough room in the toe box to accommodate slight foot swelling during long treks.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe away loose mud and debris with a soft-bristled brush after every hike.
- Drying: Air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, which can warp materials.
- Maintenance: Periodically re-apply a DWR-safe spray if you notice water no longer beads off the surface of the upper.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent UV degradation of the synthetic materials.
