FAQs
Is this shoe suitable for basketball?
While the Air Jordan 4 is a basketball silhouette, this retro edition is primarily intended for casual lifestyle use.
Does the black colour fade over time?
Like any premium sneaker, proper care and avoiding excessive exposure to direct sunlight will help maintain the deep black aesthetic.
How should I clean the mesh underlays?
Use a lightly dampened soft cloth with mild detergent, dabbing the mesh gently without soaking the underlying material.
Are these true to size?
Yes, the Air Jordan 4 typically fits true to your standard UK shoe size.
Can I use a protective spray on these?
Yes, a water and stain repellent spray suitable for nubuck or suede can help protect the upper, but test on a small, hidden area first.
Troubleshooting
Visible dust on the upper
Use a dry, soft-bristled shoe brush to gently sweep away dust from the mesh and suede areas.
Laces becoming loose
The wing eyelets are designed for lockdown; ensure laces are threaded through these points properly to increase tension across the midfoot.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Air Jordan 4 Retro Black Cat 2020 maintains its appearance, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: These shoes generally fit true to size. Ensure you select your standard UK sizing for the best lockdown.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristle brush to remove surface dust. For spot cleaning, utilize a mild cleaning solution designed for suede or nubuck-style materials. Do not submerge the shoes in water.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fading.
- Care: Avoid using harsh chemicals or industrial-strength cleaners, as these may damage the black finish on the upper.
