The vidaXL Balcony Screen is an ideal solution for homeowners and apartment dwellers looking to enhance their outdoor privacy while adding a layer of protection from the elements. Crafted from durable poly rattan, this screen provides an effective barrier against wind and direct sunlight, making it perfect for balconies, patios, and garden areas. While it offers excellent weather resistance and a sleek aesthetic, users should ensure they measure their balcony railing precisely, as the rigid material requires a secure attachment for long-term stability in high-wind areas.

Yes, the poly rattan weave is designed to provide high-level privacy and blocks almost all direct line-of-sight through the screen.
Cutting the screen may damage the structural integrity of the weave; it is recommended to purchase the specific size that best fits your balcony dimensions.
The material is UV-resistant, meaning it is treated to resist color fading and degradation from long-term sun exposure.
You can use heavy-duty zip ties, outdoor-rated cable ties, or decorative wire to weave through the top and bottom of the screen and secure it to your railing structure.
Yes, it is highly versatile and can be used on wire mesh garden fences to provide both wind protection and privacy.
Use more attachment points or tighten your fasteners to ensure the material is pulled uniformly across the entire length of the railing.
Use a soft-bristle brush to gently dislodge debris, followed by a light rinse with a garden hose.
To install your vidaXL Balcony Screen, ensure your mounting surface is structurally sound. Use zip ties or heavy-duty wire (not always included depending on the kit) to thread through the pre-manufactured points along the screen, pulling the material taut against your balcony railing. Compatibility is broadest with standard slatted or metal railings. For care, avoid using high-pressure washers, which may damage the weave. Instead, simply hose down the screen occasionally with fresh water or wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dust, pollen, or environmental grime. During extreme winter conditions, ensure the screen is securely fastened to prevent flapping damage.
