Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your boots, ensure the fit is snug but not constricting, as leather will naturally stretch and mold to your foot over time. Given the oily finish, avoid using harsh industrial cleaners. Instead, wipe away surface dirt with a damp cloth and allow the leather to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. To maintain the unique luster of the leather, apply a leather conditioner specifically formulated for oily or waxed finishes. Store your boots in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees if you want to preserve the internal structure during long periods of non-use.
