FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for skateboarding?

Yes, they feature the classic Sk8-Hi construction, which is built to withstand the rigors of skateboarding.

How do I find my correct size?

These shoes follow standard Vans sizing. If you have owned Vans Sk8-Hi models before, you should select the same size.

Can I wash these in a washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the decorative thematic elements and the integrity of the shoe's construction. Always hand clean.

Are these limited edition?

Yes, they are part of the exclusive House of Terror collaboration series.

Do the shoes provide ankle support?

The Sk8-Hi silhouette is specifically designed as a high-top to offer increased ankle support compared to low-top trainers.

Troubleshooting

Laces coming undone frequently

Use a double knot or consider replacing with flatter, higher-friction laces if you find the factory laces too slick.

Scuffing on the side graphics

Use a specialized rubber eraser for footwear or gently wipe with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive sponges.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Unique, collectible design for horror fans
Time-tested Sk8-Hi comfort and stability
High-quality construction from a trusted brand
Eye-catching red and black aesthetic

Cons

Themed design may not suit all personal styles
High-top silhouette requires more time to lace up
Specific limited-edition aesthetic limits outfit matching

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your shoes remain in peak condition, follow these guidelines:

Lacing: Adjust the laces to your preferred tension. Because the Sk8-Hi is a high-top, ensure the tongue is centered to prevent discomfort during long walks.
Compatibility: These are unisex trainers fitting standard adult sizes. Refer to the size chart for specific UK sizing matches.
Care: Spot clean with a soft brush and mild soap to avoid damaging the specialized horror-themed graphics. Do not machine wash, as this can degrade the adhesive and the thematic print. Air dry only, away from direct heat sources.
