Full details
The adidas Duramo SL 2 Trainers are designed for adult runners who prioritize a lightweight and responsive feel during their short to medium-distance daily runs. FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for flat feet?
The Duramo SL 2 is designed for neutral runners. If you require significant arch support, you may wish to consider an aftermarket orthotic insole.
Can I use these for long-distance running?
While durable, they are optimized for short to medium distances. For ultra-marathons, you might prefer a model with more maximalist cushioning.
How should I clean the exterior mesh?
Use a damp cloth and mild soap to gently wipe the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Are these true to size?
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing for adult footwear. If you prefer to wear thicker performance socks, some users size up by half.
Is the material breathable?
Yes, the upper construction uses lightweight, breathable materials designed to keep your feet cool during activity.
Troubleshooting
Foot slipping inside the shoe during exercise
Re-tie the laces using the 'runner's loop' or heel-lock technique to secure the ankle.
Sole grip feels slippery on wet surfaces
Ensure the outsole treads are clear of debris or mud; clean with a brush to restore traction.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your adidas Duramo SL 2 trainers maintain their longevity, follow these care guidelines:
- Fit Check: Ensure the lace-up system is snug but not constricting to maintain proper circulation during runs.
- Cleaning: Hand wash using a soft-bristle brush, lukewarm water, and mild detergent; avoid soaking them in a washing machine to protect the foam integrity.
- Drying: Air dry only in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight or artificial heat sources like radiators, which can warp the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup within the interior lining.
