Full details

The Deuter Duffel Pro Movo 36 in Green is designed for adult travelers seeking an organized and versatile duffel bag for gear-heavy trips. FAQs

What are the exact carry-on dimensions?

The dimensions are listed as L54 x W36 x D27 cm for the general product and H52 x W36 x D27 cm for hand luggage suitability. It's always recommended to verify with your specific airline's current carry-on restrictions.

Can the shoulder straps be removed completely?

The shoulder straps are stowable, meaning they can be neatly tucked away into dedicated compartments. They are not designed for complete removal.

How much weight can the bag typically hold?

The recommended load for this bag is between 4 - 8 kg. The bag's construction is robust, but adhering to recommended loads helps maintain its integrity and ease of transport.

Is the material truly waterproof or water-repellent?

The bag is constructed from water-repellent TPU fabric, meaning it can resist water penetration to a significant degree but is not fully waterproof. It's suitable for protection against rain and splashes.

Can I lock the main compartment zipper?

Yes, the bag features lockable zips and a dedicated padlock anchor point on the main compartment for added security.

What is the warranty period for this duffel bag?

Warranty information is typically provided by the retailer or manufacturer at the time of purchase. Please refer to your sales receipt or the manufacturer's website for specific warranty details.

Are the wheels easy to replace if they get damaged?

Yes, the silent-glide wheels are designed to be replaceable. Instructions or parts may be available through Deuter or specialized repair services.

Troubleshooting

Bag is difficult to roll.

Ensure the luggage handle is fully extended and locked into position. Check that the wheels are free of debris and rotate smoothly. If the wheels are damaged, they may need replacement.

Zipper is stiff or stuck.

Clear any fabric or debris caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to move the zipper. Apply a small amount of graphite pencil lead or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth and operate the zipper back and forth several times.

Backpack straps are difficult to stow.

Ensure the straps are completely dry and free of dirt. Fold them neatly before inserting them into their designated storage compartments.

Water-repellent coating seems diminished.

Clean the bag as per care instructions. For re-waterproofing, consider using a fabric-specific spray treatment designed for technical outdoor gear, following the product's instructions.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Duffel Pro Movo 36 requires minimal setup. Ensure the extendable luggage handle is fully extended for rolling and properly stowed when not in use. The backpack straps can be attached or detached and stowed as needed.

Compatibility: This duffel bag is designed to meet common carry-on dimensions (L54 x W36 x D27 cm, though the product description also notes H52 x W36 x D27 cm; always check with your specific airline). It is suitable for adults and is gender-neutral.

Care: To maintain the water-repellent properties and overall condition:

  1. Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Storage: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area. Ensure the bag is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
  3. Wheels: The silent-glide wheels are replaceable. If they become worn or damaged, consult the manufacturer or a specialist for replacement parts and instructions.
  4. Zippers: Keep zippers clean and lubricate occasionally with a silicone-based spray if they become stiff.
