The Skechers Trego Ashaway boots are designed for adult women who prioritize comfort and reliable protection during outdoor excursions or light trail hiking. These boots provide a significant win in long-term comfort through their Air-Cooled memory foam technology and waterproof exterior, though users should be aware that the leather material requires periodic conditioning to maintain its protective qualities over time.

Most users find the Trego Ashaway series to fit true to size, though it is recommended to wear the thickness of socks you plan to hike in when trying them on.
No, washing machine cycles can damage the leather and the integrity of the seam-sealed waterproof construction. Use hand-cleaning methods only.
These boots are water-resistant and suited for light wet conditions and hiking. They are not insulated for sub-zero temperatures or deep snow.
The boots feature a high-quality leather upper, which provides durability and natural resistance to the elements.
The Air-Cooled memory foam is designed for durability; however, like all cushioning materials, it will gradually compress over long-term use.
The insoles are designed to work with the shoe's structure. If you require custom orthotics, ensure they fit within the boot volume without compromising the ankle support.
Wear them indoors for short periods with thick socks to allow the leather to soften and mold to your foot shape.
Reapply a leather-safe waterproof spray and ensure the seam-sealed areas are clean and free of debris.
Check the tread for embedded rocks or caked mud, which can reduce the effectiveness of the outsole grip.
To ensure your boots last for seasons to come, follow these care guidelines. Upon receipt, ensure the laces are adjusted to your preferred tension while wearing the socks you intend to use with the boots. Clean the leather surface by wiping away debris with a soft, damp cloth after every use. For deeper cleaning or to maintain waterproofing, use a specialized leather cleaner and a waterproofing spray compatible with treated leather. Avoid submerging the boots in water or using high-heat sources like radiators to dry them, as this can cause the leather to crack and compromise the waterproof seal.
