The Skechers Trego Ashaway boots are designed for adult women who need a reliable, comfortable companion for light hiking and outdoor trail walking. These boots excel at providing long-lasting cushioned support through integrated memory foam technology, ensuring a comfortable fit even on longer treks. While they offer excellent weather protection and traction, potential users should be aware that their mid-top design is best suited for established trails rather than technical mountaineering.

Yes, they feature a seam-sealed waterproof construction designed to keep feet dry in wet, outdoor conditions.
The boots feature built-in Air-Cooled memory foam. While it is not intended to be removed, it is designed for long-term comfort.
Wipe with a damp cloth after use. For tougher stains, use a specialized leather cleaner applied to a soft cloth.
Yes, the memory foam cushioning provides a contoured shape that offers consistent support for the arch and heel.
They are designed for light outdoor use and wet conditions, but they are not specialized snow boots for deep or arctic environments.
Wear them indoors for short periods with thick socks to help the leather soften and mold to your foot shape.
Ensure the boots are fully laced and secured; the waterproof rating is designed for splashes and damp ground, not deep water submersion.
Use a double knot or a secure hiker's knot to ensure the laces remain tight during activity.
To ensure your Skechers Trego Ashaway boots last through many seasons, proper care is essential. Since the upper is made of leather, avoid machine washing or drying, as these processes can degrade the waterproof sealing and damage the leather surface. Instead, wipe away surface mud with a soft, damp cloth after each use and allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack. Ensure you lace the boots snugly to take full advantage of the ankle support. When choosing your size, consider the type of hiking socks you intend to wear, as the memory foam provides a relaxed fit that benefits from a medium-weight sock for optimal comfort.
