Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Try Them On: Before use, always try on both boots with the type of socks you'll wear during play. Ensure a snug, comfortable fit without excessive pressure points.
- Lacing: Utilize the lace closure to secure your foot. Experiment with different lacing techniques to find the most comfortable and supportive fit for your foot shape.
- Break-in: New boots, especially synthetic ones, benefit from a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or walks initially to mold them to your feet before competitive play.
Compatibility
These boots feature a Firm/Multi-Ground (FG/MG) outsole, making them suitable for:
- Natural Firm Ground (FG) Pitches: Typically natural grass fields that are dry to slightly wet.
- Artificial Ground (MG) Pitches: Modern artificial turf surfaces.
Avoid using these boots on extremely hard ground, concrete, or indoor courts, as this can damage the soleplate and compromise performance.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree or stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape.
- Odour Control: Consider using shoe deodorizers or airing them out regularly to prevent odour buildup.
