Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting the most out of your jacket requires simple adjustments and routine cleaning. Ensure you tighten the hem cinch-cord and adjust the hood drawcords to create a snug seal against heavy wind and rain.
For care, the jacket is machine washable. To maintain the waterproof properties of the DryVent shell, always use a technical garment detergent rather than harsh household detergents, which can strip the DWR coating. It is recommended to zip all pockets and close the storm flap hook-and-loop closures before washing to prevent snagging. Always tumble dry on low or air dry to help reactivate the water-repellent finish; check the care label inside the garment for specific temperature guidelines.
