Setup, Compatibility & Care
Because this is a technical water-resistant garment, proper care is essential to maintain its performance. When the jacket is dirty, wash it on a cold, gentle cycle using a mild technical detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can break down the ProTek water-repellent coating. Air dry the jacket naturally by hanging it on a sturdy hanger in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry or iron over the heat-transfer logos, as the direct heat will damage the adhesive bond of the sponsor graphics. If the water-repellent finish begins to diminish over several seasons, you can re-treat the exterior with a spray-on DWR (Durable Water Repellent) product suitable for polyester fabrics.
