Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of the water-resistant properties, always follow the care label instructions inside the garment.
- Cleaning: Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners, as these can strip the ProTek water-repellent coating.
- Drying: Air dry the jacket in a shaded area. Do not tumble dry, as high heat can damage the heat-transferred logos and the technical fabric finish.
- Maintenance: If the water starts to soak into the fabric over time rather than beading off, you may need to reapply a standard DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray treatment specifically designed for synthetic technical apparel.
- Storage: Hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger to maintain the shape of the hood and shoulders.
