FAQs

Does this wallpaper require pattern matching?

No, this product features a free match design, which means you do not need to align patterns during installation.

What is meant by reverse hanging?

Reverse hanging means turning every second strip of wallpaper upside down compared to the first strip to ensure color consistency.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

While it is durable, this wallpaper is best suited for dry living areas. High humidity environments may affect the longevity of the adhesive.

Is the black color matte or glossy?

The wallpaper offers a smooth, clean look designed to be understated and modern, fitting well with most contemporary matte interior themes.

How do I clean the wallpaper?

Regular maintenance involves using a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use water or harsh chemicals.

Troubleshooting

Visible seams between strips

Ensure you are using the reverse hanging method and check that the adhesive is applied evenly to the edges.

Bubbles forming after application

Use a wallpaper smoothing tool or a soft brush to work air pockets gently toward the edges of the strip.

Surface imperfections showing through

Fill any cracks or holes in the wall and sand them down to a smooth finish before applying the wallpaper.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Clean, minimalist aesthetic
Easy to install due to the free match pattern
Provides a sophisticated, deep black tone
Ideal for creating a modern focal point

Cons

Requires careful surface preparation for a smooth finish
Dark colors may show wall imperfections more easily than lighter patterns
Reverse hanging is necessary for consistent coverage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before starting, ensure your walls are smooth, as the black finish will highlight bumps or debris underneath. For the best visual outcome, follow the recommended 'reverse hanging' method, where every second strip is flipped 180 degrees. This ensures uniform color consistency across the entire wall. Once installed, care is straightforward: simply dust with a soft, dry cloth or a microfiber duster to remove surface particles. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or excessive moisture, as this may compromise the finish of the wallcovering.
