FAQs

Is this wallpaper suitable for bathrooms?

This wallpaper is designed for general interior use. It is not recommended for high-humidity areas like bathrooms or kitchens unless protected by a specialized sealer.

What does 'free pattern match' mean?

Free pattern match means there is no design to align between strips, making it much easier to install as you don't have to worry about matching up the print.

Do I need special tools for this wallpaper?

Standard wallpapering tools are sufficient, including a pasting table, wallpaper brush, smoothing tool, sharp trimming knife, and a seam roller.

Can this wallpaper be painted over later?

This wallpaper is designed with a finished linen texture and is not intended to be painted over.

How many rolls do I need for my room?

Calculate your total wall surface area (width x height) and divide by the coverage area of a single roll, adding 10-15% extra for cuts and wastage.

Troubleshooting

Visible seams between wallpaper strips

Ensure that you are not overlapping the edges and use a seam roller to gently press the edges together while the adhesive is still damp.

Bubbles appearing under the paper during application

Use a wallpaper smoothing tool to work air bubbles toward the nearest edge, being careful not to tear the surface.

Paper not sticking to the wall

Verify that your walls were properly primed before application and that you have applied enough even coat of adhesive to the back of the wallpaper.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before installation, ensure your walls are clean, dry, and primed with an appropriate wallpaper primer to ensure optimal adhesion. Since this is a free match design, you do not need to worry about aligning patterns between strips; simply ensure each strip is plumb. When applying, use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive suitable for non-woven or paper-backed wallcoverings. To maintain the wallpaper over time, dust lightly with a soft, dry cloth or a microfiber duster. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges, as these can damage the delicate linen-effect texture.
