Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are tightened evenly from the toe box up to the mid-cut collar. This helps secure your foot within the women's-specific `Fusionlast` fit and maximizes the benefits of the `Fiberskin` upper.
- Sock Choice: Wear appropriate football socks that offer good cushioning and moisture-wicking properties to enhance comfort and prevent blisters during play.
- Break-In: Like all new football boots, a short break-in period (1-2 light training sessions) is recommended to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
These boots are designated as FG/AG, meaning they are designed for use on:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are dry and firm.
- Artificial Ground (AG): Modern synthetic turf pitches. The `semiconical studs` and `Sprintplate Fusion` soleplate are engineered for optimal traction and durability on these surfaces.
Do not use these boots on soft ground (SG) pitches, as the stud configuration is not designed for deeper penetration and could lead to injury or damage to the boots.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off excess dirt and mud with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources (like radiators or hair dryers), as this can damage the materials and affect the fit.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb any residual moisture.
