Compatibility
These shoes are primarily designed for:
- Road Running: Ideal for paved surfaces, treadmills, and tracks.
- Light Workouts: Suitable for gym sessions, cardio, and general fitness activities.
- Casual Wear: Comfortable for daily use, walking, and light errands due to their comfort and lightweight design.
- Not Recommended For: Intense trail running, highly specialized sports requiring specific foot support, or heavy-duty industrial use.
Care
Proper care extends the life and maintains the appearance of your Downshifter 13 shoes.
- Cleaning:
- Surface Dirt: Use a soft brush or damp cloth to remove loose dirt from the upper and sole.
- Stubborn Stains: Mix a small amount of mild soap with water. Apply to a soft cloth or brush and gently scrub stained areas.
- Rinsing: Wipe away soap residue with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid submerging shoes in water.
- Insoles: Remove and hand wash insoles if necessary, allowing them to air dry completely.
- Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can damage materials. Stuffing with paper towels can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Keep them aired out after workouts to prevent odors.
