The ripstop upper is durable and protective, but these shoes are not explicitly marketed as fully waterproof.
While they are built for hiking, the HOVR cushioning makes them comfortable for light trail running.
Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Yes, they follow standard UK sizing for adult hiking footwear.
The molded EVA sockliner is removable if you prefer to use your own orthotic insoles.
Ensure the toggle mechanism is fully compressed against the shoe tongue and check for debris inside the toggle spring.
Foam compression is normal over time, but ensure you are rotating footwear to allow the cushioning to recover its shape between uses.
Before your first hike, ensure the quick-toggle is adjusted to your preferred tension level to prevent slippage. To maintain the life of your EXPLOR Trail shoes, remove excess mud or debris after every use with a soft-bristled brush. If the shoes become soaked, remove the EVA sockliner and allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, which can damage the synthetic materials and foam.
