Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your adidas Predator League FG MG boots is straightforward:
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded through all eyelets for a secure and comfortable fit. Adjust the tension evenly across your foot to avoid pressure points.
- Initial Wear: Wear the boots for short periods during practice sessions to break them in. This helps the material mold to the player's foot shape, enhancing comfort and reducing the risk of blisters.
Compatibility
- Surface Compatibility: These boots feature an FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) soleplate, making them suitable for play on both natural grass pitches (firm ground) and artificial grass surfaces. They are not recommended for indoor courts or extremely soft/muddy pitches.
- Age/Size: These specific boots are designed for kids (UK Child size 5).
Care
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your football boots:
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every match or training session, clean any mud or dirt from the boots. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the upper and soleplate. Remove any debris from between the studs.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place. Using a boot bag can protect them from scratches and keep them separate from other gear.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not submerge the boots in water or wash them in a washing machine, as this can damage the materials and affect their structural integrity.
- Refer to Label: Always check the product label inside the boot for specific care instructions provided by adidas.
