Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
These boots feature a regular fit and a traditional lace closure system. To ensure a secure and comfortable fit:
- Loosen Laces: Before putting on, loosen the laces completely.
- Insert Foot: Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is snug against the back.
- Tighten Laces: Starting from the bottom eyelets, progressively tighten the laces. Ensure they are snug but not overly tight, allowing for natural foot movement.
- Knot Securely: Tie a secure knot to prevent laces from coming undone during play. The flat laces are designed to lie flush, reducing bulk for better ball control.
Compatibility
- Age Group: These are specifically junior's football boots, designed for younger players.
- Playing Surfaces: The FGMG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) soleplate makes these boots suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including:
- Natural grass pitches (firm ground)
- Artificial turf (3G/4G pitches)
- They are not recommended for very soft, muddy natural grass (where soft ground studs would be ideal) or older, abrasive artificial turf (1G/2G) surfaces.
Care Instructions
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your Predator League boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the Hybridfeel synthetic upper and soleplate. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, direct sunlight) as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Product Label: Always refer to the product label inside the boot for specific care instructions provided by adidas. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
