The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star OX leather trainers are an ideal choice for adults seeking a versatile, iconic footwear staple that balances classic style with everyday comfort. Yes, they generally fit true to standard adult UK sizing, though the leather structure provides a slightly firmer feel than canvas.
No. Machine washing can ruin the leather and weaken the rubber bonding; always clean by hand.
It is water-resistant, but it is not fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather protector spray for added resistance.
OrthoLite insoles are breathable, moisture-wicking, and provide long-lasting cushioning that won't flatten out easily.
Yes, like most leather footwear, they may feel slightly rigid initially but will contour to your feet after a few wears.
Wear the shoes for short intervals at home with thick socks to gently stretch the leather.
Use a standard white pencil eraser or a melamine sponge to gently buff away marks.
Apply a high-quality leather cream to restore moisture and shine.
For the best initial fit, ensure the laces are fully loosened before sliding your foot in; this prevents strain on the heel counter. To keep the white leather in top condition, wipe away surface dirt with a soft, damp cloth after each use. Avoid machine washing, which can damage the leather finish and adhesive. Use a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner periodically to keep the material supple and prevent creases from turning into cracks. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the white color.
