Yes, the Salomon XT-6 features GORE-TEX waterproof protection, designed to keep your feet dry in various wet conditions.

The Quicklace system is a single, strong lace that tightens with one pull. You simply pull the tab to tighten or press the release button on the lace lock to loosen. Excess lace and the lace lock can be stored in the lace pocket on the tongue.

Thanks to the All Terrain Contagrip® Outsole and Agile Chassis™ System, these shoes are designed for versatility, performing well on technical trails, soft ground, rocky paths, and urban street surfaces.

To clean, gently brush off loose dirt. For more stubborn grime, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing, and always allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.

The OrthoLite® Sockliner provides superior cushioning, breathability, and durability, while the EnergyCell™ Midsole offers high-rebound cushioning, together enhancing comfort, shock absorption, and energy return during your activities.

Yes, the Salomon XT-6 is well-suited for trail running, offering the necessary support, grip, and comfort for off-road adventures. They can also be used for light running on urban surfaces.

While the GORE-TEX provides waterproofing, which is beneficial in snowy or wet cold conditions, the XT-6 is not specifically insulated for extreme cold. For very low temperatures, additional insulated footwear might be more appropriate.

The Quicklace system allows for on-the-fly adjustments. To loosen, press the release button on the lace lock and pull the laces apart. To tighten, simply pull the end tab until the desired snugness is achieved, then secure the lace lock.

Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks for your activity. The OrthoLite® Sockliner and EnergyCell™ Midsole provide cushioning, but fit is crucial. If discomfort persists, consider checking your shoe size or consulting a footwear specialist to ensure the shoes are right for your foot type and activity.

While the All Terrain Contagrip® Outsole offers excellent grip, no shoe is slip-proof on all surfaces. Ensure the outsole is clean of mud, debris, or packed snow. Adjust your gait and be mindful of extremely slick or icy conditions.

Verify that the GORE-TEX membrane has not been compromised (e.g., from a tear or puncture). Ensure water isn't entering from the top opening (e.g., splashing over the collar in deep puddles) or through prolonged submersion beyond the shoe's height. If the GORE-TEX is damaged, the waterproof integrity may be compromised.
