FAQs

Are these candles suitable for indoor use?

While primarily designed for outdoor use, they can be used indoors. However, ensure they are kept away from flammable materials and do not leave them unattended.

How long do the batteries typically last?

Each candle provides up to 1200 hours of illumination on a set of 2 x C batteries. Actual battery life may vary based on usage and battery quality.

What does IP44 Rated mean?

IP44 rating signifies that the candles are protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and are protected against water splashed from any direction.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

Yes, rechargeable C batteries can be used. Please ensure they are fully charged and inserted correctly. Note that rechargeable batteries may offer a shorter illumination time per charge compared to standard alkaline batteries.

What is the diameter of the candles?

The diameters range from 7.5cm to 10cm, corresponding to the different heights.

How do I activate the timer function?

Simply switch the candle to the '6h' position on the ON/OFF/6h Timer switch located on the base.

Troubleshooting

Candle not turning on

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. Ensure fresh batteries are used. Verify the ON/OFF/TIMER switch is set to ON or TIMER.

Flickering effect is erratic or absent

This may indicate low battery power. Replace the batteries with new ones. Ensure the battery compartment is clean and dry.

Candle turns off automatically before 6 hours

Confirm the timer function is activated. If the issue persists, the batteries may be low and require replacement, or there might be an intermittent connection.

Water ingress into the battery compartment

Immediately remove batteries. Dry the compartment thoroughly and ensure the base seal is clean and re-secured properly before reinserting batteries. Check the seal for any damage.
