FAQs
Can I use these on artificial grass?
These boots are designed for firm natural grass. Using them on artificial turf can cause excessive wear and may void the manufacturer's warranty.
How should I clean my F50 boots?
Use a damp cloth and a mild soap solution to clean the synthetic upper. Always air dry them at room temperature.
Do these boots fit true to size?
The F50 Messi Elite features a regular fit. It is recommended to choose your child's standard sports shoe size.
What is the purpose of the burrito tongue?
The burrito tongue is designed to wrap around the foot, creating an adaptive, snug fit that keeps the foot locked down during high-speed movements.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
The boots have a performance-oriented, snug fit. If your child has very wide feet, you may want to ensure they try them on with their preferred playing socks first.
Troubleshooting
Boots feel loose during play
Re-tie the laces to ensure a tighter fit across the midfoot, utilizing the burrito tongue's wrap for maximum security.
Difficulty cleaning mud from studs
Use a specialized boot brush or a soft-bristled toothbrush to reach between the Sprintplate 360 studs after letting the mud dry slightly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your adidas F50 Messi Elite boots, follow these guidelines:
Setup:
Ensure the laces are adjusted to provide a firm lockdown without restricting circulation. The burrito tongue should sit flat against the instep.
Compatibility:
These boots are intended exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches. Using them on hard indoor surfaces or abrasive artificial turf may lead to premature wear of the outsole and potential stud breakage.
Care:
- Wipe off excess mud after every match using a soft brush or damp cloth.
- Allow the boots to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can crack the synthetic materials.
- Remove the synthetic sockliner periodically to let the interior of the boot dry completely.
