Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Choose Your Sockliner: Before wearing, decide whether to use the 'SL' (Speed Light) sockliner for a minimalist, speed-focused feel, or the 'Comfort' sockliner for added cushioning and impact absorption. Simply insert your preferred sockliner into each boot.
- Lace Up Securely: Insert your foot and begin lacing from the bottom up. Ensure the laces are snug but not overly tight, allowing for full range of motion without restricting blood flow. Double-knot for extra security.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, a short break-in period during light training sessions is recommended to allow the boots to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
These adidas F50 Elite Juniors Football Boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means they are best suited for use on dry, natural grass surfaces. Using them on artificial turf (AG), indoor courts (IC), or soft ground (SG) can lead to premature wear of the outsole and may void any warranty. Ensure the playing surface matches the boot's design for optimal performance and longevity.
Care
- Post-Match Cleaning: After each use, remove any loose mud or dirt from the outsole and upper using a soft brush or damp cloth. This prevents build-up and maintains grip.
- Wipe Down Upper: For the synthetic and textile upper, wipe with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Air Dry: Always allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them directly on heaters, in direct sunlight, or in a tumble dryer, as this can damage the materials.
- Remove Sockliners: For thorough drying and to prevent odors, consider removing the sockliners after play and allowing them to air dry separately.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
