Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Initial Try-On: When you first receive your boots, try them on with your usual football socks. The laceless design means the fit is fixed, so ensure they feel snug but not uncomfortably tight. There should be minimal movement inside the boot.
- Break-In Period: Like most new football boots, these will benefit from a break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or casual play before using them in a competitive match. This allows the synthetic upper to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are relatively dry and firm. Using them on other surfaces, such as artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor courts (IC), may compromise performance, cause accelerated wear, or potentially lead to injury due to inappropriate stud configuration.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, wipe off any mud or dirt with a damp cloth. Use a soft brush to clean between the studs.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the synthetic materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators), which can cause the materials to crack or become brittle.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Product Label: Always refer to the specific care instructions on the product label for any additional guidance provided by adidas.
