Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your trainers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Break-in Period: Wear the shoes for shorter runs on varied surfaces to allow the cushioning and upper to mold to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud with a soft brush after every run. If the shoes become very dirty, rinse with cool water. Avoid using harsh soaps or bleach.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as high heat can degrade the GORE-TEX membrane and foam structure.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew growth within the waterproof layers.
- Replacement: Monitor the outsole lugs; once they show significant wear, the grip on technical terrain will be compromised, indicating it is time for a new pair.
