The Nike Vomero 18 is a high-performance trainer designed for adult runners and casual wearers who prioritize superior impact protection and smooth transitions. By combining ZoomX and ReactX foam, this shoe delivers an exceptionally soft and responsive ride that excels during daily road runs, though the high-stack design may feel less stable for those who prefer a ground-connected, minimalist feel.

The Vomero 18 offers a neutral, cushioned ride. While the support is excellent, those with specific requirements for overpronation may benefit from adding custom orthotic insoles.
It is recommended to hand wash these shoes. Machine washing can damage the foam properties and adhesive bonds.
ZoomX is known for maximum energy return and lightness, while ReactX provides durability and a stable, plush feel. The combination offers the best of both.
Yes, their impact protection makes them a popular choice for long-distance marathon training and racing, especially for those who prefer cushioning over absolute weight reduction.
Most running shoes lose their optimal cushioning properties between 300 and 500 miles, depending on your running surface and weight.
Try the 'runner's loop' or 'heel lock' lacing method by using the top eyelet to secure the fit around the ankle.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove loose dirt from the mesh upper after every few runs to maintain breathability.
To ensure optimal performance, verify that the laces are adjusted to accommodate foot swelling that typically occurs during longer runs; use the extra eyelet for a 'runner's loop' if you experience heel slippage. The Vomero 18 is compatible with standard athletic insoles if you require specific arch support. For maintenance, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources such as radiators to prevent foam degradation. If the trainers become dirty, clean them using a soft brush, warm water, and mild soap. Allow them to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight.
