FAQs

What makes the TLS lumber design beneficial?

The TLS lumber design creates a firmer base sheet with reduced elasticity and no sagging, which enhances the feel and support of the memory foam mattress for a more comfortable sleep.

How do the CNC hinges improve sleep?

The dual pivoting CNC hinges are engineered to provide the flattest possible mattress and frame arrangement, minimizing unevenness and maximizing comfort.

Is the 5-season duvet suitable for summer use?

The 5-season duvet is dual-layered and reversible. For warmer conditions, you can utilize a single layer or reverse it to a configuration that offers less insulation. However, it is primarily designed for colder weather.

How do I clean the EX waterproof fabric on the duvet?

The EX waterproof fabric can typically be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, refer to the product's care label for specific washing instructions.

What is the main advantage of the LevelTech leg system?

The LevelTech leg system offers enhanced strength and ease of operation, featuring larger springs and an improved track design that allows for quick and secure leveling on various terrains.

Can I detach the duvet from the bedchair?

While the duvet is designed to integrate seamlessly with the bedchair, check the specific attachment points. Often, duvets can be unzipped or detached for cleaning or easier transport.

What material is the mattress made from?

The mattress is made from high-quality memory foam, designed to provide superior comfort and support.

Troubleshooting

Legs are not locking securely.

Ensure the legs are fully extended and the adjustment track is clean and free of debris. Re-engage the locking mechanism firmly.

Duvet does not feel warm enough.

Ensure the draught baffles are correctly positioned and zipped. Reverse the duvet to utilize the warmer side for colder conditions. Check for any gaps around the bedchair that may be allowing drafts.

Frame feels unstable on soft ground.

Use the LevelTech legs to their maximum adjustment. Ensure the base sheet is taut, which aids in overall frame rigidity. Consider using additional ground supports if available for extreme conditions.

Memory foam mattress has an odor upon arrival.

This is normal for memory foam and will dissipate. Allow the mattress to air out in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours before first use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Unfold the bedchair, ensuring the legs extend fully.
Adjust the LevelTech legs to achieve a level sleeping surface using the improved track design and larger springs. Ensure all legs are securely locked.
Attach the duvet, utilizing the draught baffles for optimal warmth.

Compatibility:

The Benchmark Ultra X System is designed as a standalone sleep system. Its universal design aims to fit within most standard fishing bivvies and shelters.

Care:

Frame: Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Mattress: The memory foam mattress should be spot-cleaned with a mild detergent and water. Allow to air dry completely before use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can degrade memory foam.
Duvet: The EX waterproof fabric can be wiped clean. For deeper cleaning, follow the care label instructions, typically a gentle machine wash on a low temperature and air dry.
