Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Using your Hotter Gravity II Trainers is straightforward:
- Lacing: Unlace the trainers to comfortably slide your foot in.
- Adjust Fit: Tighten the laces to achieve a secure yet comfortable fit. Ensure they are not too tight, which could restrict circulation, nor too loose, which could cause slipping.
- Insoles: The trainers come with removable insoles. If you use custom orthotics, simply remove the existing insoles and insert your own.
Compatibility
- Foot Width: Designed with a Wide width, these trainers are ideal for individuals needing extra room across the footbed.
- Orthotics: The removable insoles make them highly compatible with personal orthotic devices, allowing for customized arch support and cushioning.
- Activities: Best suited for walking, prolonged standing, and general daily wear where comfort and support are prioritized.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Hotter Gravity II Trainers:
- Upper (Leather): To clean the leather upper, gently wipe with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner, following the product's instructions. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive water.
- Lining (Textile): The textile lining can be gently wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Allow to air dry completely.
- Sole (PU): Clean the sole with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Always air dry your trainers away from direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Stuffing with paper can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Submersion: Do not machine wash or submerge the trainers in water.
