This Regatta Pack It III waterproof jacket is designed for kids, offering reliable protection against the elements during outdoor adventures. Its key benefit is its lightweight, packable design, making it easy to carry. A potential caveat is that while waterproof, it may not offer significant insulation for very cold weather. This jacket features waterproof and breathable Isotex 5000 fabric, taped seams, and a packaway hood, ensuring children stay dry and comfortable.

This jacket is designed for waterproofing and breathability, offering minimal insulation. It is best suited for mild to cool wet weather and can be layered with warmer clothing for colder conditions.
You can machine wash the jacket at 40°C with zippers and fasteners closed. Avoid bleach, and tumble dry on a low heat. Wash separately.
Isotex 5000 is Regatta's own waterproof and breathable fabric technology, indicating a hydrostatic head rating of 5000mm, which means it can withstand 5000mm of water pressure before leaking. It also implies good breathability.
Yes, this jacket is designed as unisex, suitable for any child.
The jacket packs neatly into its own dedicated stuff sack, making it very compact for storage in a bag or pocket.
This specific product is sized for children aged 9-10 years.
Ensure the jacket is clean and free from dirt or residue. Re-apply a waterproofing treatment suitable for polyester fabrics if necessary, following product instructions. Check that seams are intact.
Gently pull the zipper while holding the fabric taut. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil lead) or wax to the zipper teeth. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper track.
This may indicate the need for better ventilation or that the child is overdressed. Ensure the hood is not sealed too tightly and consider removing insulating layers underneath if the temperature or activity level has increased.
