Designed with convenience and longevity in mind, this extra-long automatic hose reel makes garden maintenance smooth, tidy, and stress-free. The smooth unwinding mechanism allows you to pull out exactly the length of hose you need, with an auto-locking system that holds it in place—no need to constantly hold the hose taut. When more length is required, simply pull again and the reel extends further with ease. When finished, a gentle tug triggers the automatic rewind system, which retracts the full 40 metres of hose cleanly back into the unit. A braking mechanism ensures a steady, controlled rewind, while the layering guide prevents kinks and tangles, delivering a neat and compact coil every time. The hose is housed in a durable, UV-resistant polypropylene case, shielding it from sun and weather damage to ensure long-term performance. Ideal for year-round use, the casing also provides a clean and organised appearance in your outdoor space. Mounted on a robust wall bracket, the Auto Reel offers 180-degree rotation, giving you excellent reach across wide garden areas. After use, it folds flat against the wall for space-saving storage. Practical features include integrated feeder hose storage to keep things neat during winter months and a leak-free park point to prevent dripping when storing indoors or in a shed. A child lock is also built in for added safety, ensuring the hose can only be accessed when needed. Supplied with everything you need to get started—including tap connectors, soft-touch hose fittings, a feeder hose, and an adjustable spray nozzle—the Hozelock 40m Auto Reel is the ideal hose storage solution for large gardens. The Hozelock Auto Reel with 40m Hose is covered by a manufacturer's 5-year guarantee (when registered online). The reel's mechanism automatically locks so that you don't have to hold the hose taught. To unwind more hose simply pull out more , and the mechanism will unlock. When its time to rewind the hose - a simple tug - unlatches the drum, and AutoReel's patented automatic rewind system takes over. A powerful spring winds the hose back onto the drum The layering mechanism neatly coils the hose back into the protective case without any kinks, tangles, knots or effort from you. The rewind never gets too fast because our patented braking technology keeps the rewind speed under control. It has a 180 degree pivot allowing you to reach every area of your garden and a child lock to prevent misuse. There is even a space for a padlock to stop other gardeners from stealing it.
